Social media, and the relative right and left wing press outlets are drooling over the implied ties of disgusting pedophile Jeffery Epstein, the same way he would over a 15-year-old on the beach in a bikini.

The Epstein case is nauseating on so many levels, and how this wretched piece of garbage — who admits to sex with under-age girls — got off without a long prison term a decade ago is a testament to a criminal justice system that favors the rich and powerful.

But, putting that aside, whatever else Epstein is, that last statement is key. He is, or at least was – both rich and powerful. And that means he had many rich and powerful friends and associates – including President Donald Trump and former President Bill Clinton.

To be sure, both Clinton and Trump have had their share of sex scandals. Which is why haters of both men in the media — mainstream and otherwise – are having a field day with implications that they share Epstein’s perversions.

But, let’s be 100% clear on something, while there is no denying that Epstein knew both Clinton and Trump well, there is absolutely not one shred of evidence that either the current or ex-president, had any knowledge whatsoever about the crimes Epstein participated in, let alone, were involved in them.

Epstein Had Wealthy Friends and Associates

Now that federal prosecutors in Manhattan have charged Epstein with sex trafficking, the entire mess deserves every bit of coverage it’s been getting. And that ramped up after federal agents found hundreds, perhaps thousands, of “sexually suggestive” photos of young women and underage girls in a weekend raid on his 21,000-square-foot Manhattan mansion.

It is even appropriate for the media to scrutinize current Labor Secretary Alex Acosta, who oversaw an absurdly weak plea deal with Epstein when he was the U.S. attorney in Miami. In 2008, Acosta allowed Epstein to plead to a reduced charge that resulted in a 13-month jail term—in which he was allowed to leave for work six days a week.

But, partisan politics aside for the moment, beyond covering Acosta’s involvement, the buzzards swirling around both Trump and the Clintons because of their alleged ties to Epstein, are way off base.

Epstein was rich in every way in which wealth is measured. He was a wealthy guy, and as such he traveled in wealthy circles and had wealthy and influential friends, including Donald Trump and Bill Clinton.

Epstein’s Supposed Ties to Trump and Clinton

That Epstein knew Trump, should shock no one. Epstein lived in Palm Beach, Florida, and Trump as anyone knows spends plenty of time at his Palm Beach estate, Mar-a-Lago.

“I knew him like everybody else in Palm Beach knew him,” Trump told reporters yesterday. “He was a fixture in Palm Beach. I had a falling out with him. … I was not a fan of his.”

The salivating left-wing press dug up a 2002 interview in which Trump told New York Magazine that Epstein was “a terrific guy. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.”

That’s pretty embarrassing in light of what happened later. But there’s absolutely no evidence that Trump knew Epstein was a pedophile. It’s an easy insinuation, given Trump’s history of womanizing and allegations of sexual harassment and assault, which he’s denied, but a very unfair one.

The same goes for another Epstein pal, Bill Clinton, who flew around on Epstein’s jet. A Clinton spokesman said he “knows nothing about the terrible crimes” that Epstein pleaded guilty to in Florida or is now charged with in New York.

Rumors have swirled for years about Epstein and Clinton, who obviously has his own history of sexual scandals. But as with Trump, there’s no evidence that Clinton knew of the underage girls.

Both men deserve to be taken at their words, and not get the proverbial poo on them, simply because they were standing too close to Epstein when it hit the fan.

If any evidence emerges that Epstein’s political pals – Trump or Clinton – or his other fat-cat buddies knew of the way he preyed on children before the allegations came to light, I’ll be the first to condemn them in this column.

But until then, everyone, and especially the media, should stop stoking the fires of the rumor train, and instead focus their hate and disgust on Epstein himself, and a broken justice system that let a well-heeled child predator off the hook!

  1. SOME GOOD COULD COME OUT OF THIS IF HE WOULD IMPLICATE SOME OF THE RICH AND POWERFUL THAT ARE COMPLICIT IN HIS ESCAPADES.

  2. Most men see a 15 year old gal in a bikini as alluring but forbidden fruit. Asking that gal for a date is against the law unless in the same age range. Older men who chance dating that gal are called Pedos and risk jail time.

  3. Ladies and Gentlemen,
The stories coming out of the Epstein case are horrifying to say the least. But it’s only the tip of the iceberg.
In actuality there are two stories being told but only one story is in the press.
What happened to the youthful teen girls in this guys airplane or in his apartment is the story in the news.
The story that is not being covered by the press is what happened to the many youthful teens on this guys private island.
Once you learn of that story you will want everyone listed in the flight log to the island to be charged and found responsible for the outcome of these missing teens.
Oh, it should be understood that the island named Small James Island is too small for a runway to handle a jet airliner. So the flight logs are for the helicopter charter that commuted everyone to the secret hideaway.
