Gina Carano, ‘The Mandalorian’ star, is the latest victim of “cancel culture.” Disney fired the actress after she tweeted a photo of Nazi Germany and compared it to today’s intense political climate.
However, on this week’s episode of “The Glenn Beck Podcast,” renowned Jewish and Holocaust historian Edwin Black said that Gina’s comparison was actually pretty accurate.
Edwin Black is the son of Holocaust survivors. He is also an investigative journalist with awards and best-selling books translated into 20 languages in nearly 200 countries.
His book “IBM and the Holocaust” looks at high tech’s role in killing Jews during the Holocaust and what it can teach us about the dangers of Big Tech today.
Black told Glenn he believes cancel culture is erasing our culture and history. He says it is censoring our ideals and mocking our values, similar to the Nazi exclusion of Jews during the Holocaust.
