Airline Staff Applauds as Jewish Family is Kicked Off Flight
A viral videos shows a Hasidic Jewish couple getting kicked off a Frontier Airlines flight, allegedly because their two-year-old child was not wearing a mask. Passengers applaud as the couple exits the plane. According to multiple witnesses, Frontier Airliens staff were high-fiving each other and saying “we did it.”
The flight was scheduled to leave Miami Sunday night at 7:00pm local time for New York’s Laguardia airport. As the couple was being escorted off the plane, another Jewish individual was defending them, which encouraged others to defend the family, which led the airline staff to order everyone off the plane.
Someone can be heard saying, “A job well done to those Jews,” and several witnesses claim an airline staff was saying it. Multiple passengers all separately attest to the fact that Frontier airline staff were celebrating the Jewish couple getting kicked off.
According to Frontier Airline’s website, children under the age of two are exempt from wearing a mask, but the couple was kicked off regardless.
After the video went viral online, Frontier Airlines issued a statement saying, “Members of a large group, including adults, refused to wear masks as flight 2878 was preparing for departure from MIA-LGA. Repeated requests to comply with federal law necessitated their removal from the flight. The issue did not stem from a child under 2.”
