MOSCOW, Nov 19 (Reuters) – Two Russian Tu-95 strategic bombers made a scheduled, 10-hour flight over neutral waters near Alaska, the defence ministry said on Friday, a day after President Vladimir Putin complained of western military flights near Russian airspace.

Putin said Western strategic bombers carrying “very serious weapons” were flying within 20 km (12.5 miles) of Russia’s borders, in a speech in which he said the West was taking Russia’s warnings not to cross its “red lines” too lightly.

“Two Tu-95MS long-range strategic missile carriers conducted a planned flight in the airspace above the neutral waters of the Bering Strait, the Chukchi Sea and the Sea of Okhotsk,” the ministry said in a statement published by news agencies.

Already poor relations between Washington and Moscow have worsened further in recent weeks, with the United States accusing Russia of threatening behaviour towards Ukraine and Russia complaining about what it sees as provocative U.S. warship manoeuvres in the Black Sea. 1. Are we the people of these United States just sitting ducks? Biden can’t handle the Russians and Chinese threats and the people who pull the strings are too afraid or too stupid to know how to handle this. Bulls–t around too long and it will be too late. We’re already down the rabbit hole concentrating on vaccines for the military and on spending money on worthless causes instead of being prepared. Something’s gotta give damn soon!

  2. I suspect that if the publishers had your way, they would complain about everything that others did, even if their own actions caused another World War they would be happy. Apart from Pearl Harbour, the USA has never had to live with being attacked. But they have placed USA nationals in concentration camps, because of US racial ethics. Then when things get tough took those prisoners to fight for them but not in a racially mixed USA military organization.
The USA just wants everyone not classed as American to fight for them in the most difficult places.

  3. If they are in neutral air space they can do it, so can we; but if they get in our air space play chicken and go after them. Do our planes have real bullets are has the new leaders banned them also. It is damn tough talking a Russian or Chinaman with nothing to back it up. The leaders now are to worried about using the right pronoun or giving everyone more rights than the real warriors that we still have. Send Putin a letter and ask for help like the leader of Germany did I am sure he would help Brandon.

    1. You don’t think that the USA doesn’t fly or sail into International areas to determine what reactions will occur!
I suspect that most countries that have the ability to “flyby” other countries, including countries of allies, do it for reaction knowledge, including the USA. In the past that was considered to be part of spying, but is now probably considered to be normal operation.
