Florida’s Governor Ron DeSantis warned Disney to keep their liberal activism out of schools, saying, “It’s not going to work out well for you.”

Disney’s Special Troubles

In April, Disney took to the public eye crying out their allegiance towards encouraging “LGBTQ+ talk” among extremely young children in school. However, Governor DeSantis stopped them in their tracks.

Because of Disney’s activism and support against DeSantis’ bill, and supporting what some experts call “sexual grooming in the classroom,” they puffed out their chests and fought DeSantis’ sex education bill.

The bill has been called by liberals the “Don’t Say Gay” bill. According to experts, the word gay is not included in the bill.

To Disney’s surprise, the show of their corporate liberal muscle resulted in what no one saw coming, a decision from the Governor to cancel Disney’s coveted special status of Reedy Creek. Reedy Creek is located in Orlando, Florida, and was purchased by Walt Disney in the early 1960s. In 1967, the year after Walt Disney passed away, Florida legislation allowed Disney to self-govern, skipping the bureaucracy of big business.

Self-government status comes with a lot of perks.

Governor DeSantis Sex Education Bill

In an interview with Dave Rubin, Republican Governor DeSantis said “I thought it was a mistake for Disney to get involved and I told them, ‘You shouldn’t get involved it’s not going to work out well for you.”

According to the interview with Rubin, DeSantis pointed out that Disney can freely take a position on the bill, but not “force all of us to subsidize their activism,” which he feels was what they were doing.

Disney employees staged a walkout against the sex education bill that reinforces parents’ rights to make decisions on the upbringing of their children. The bill prohibits classroom instruction on sexual orientation or gender from kindergarten through 3rd grade.

DeSantis recently signed a bill to enhance school security and support mental health.

Critics Of The Bill

Critics of the sex education bill that protect kindergarteners through 3rd graders, say his decision not to allow teachers to openly discuss sex and gender will marginalize the LGBTQ+ students, teachers, and families of same-sex households.

If the special privileges for Reedy Creek are dissolved, it will begin June 1, 2023.

The sex education bill is set to begin on July 1, 2022.

  1. Disney has become another country all its own. How dare they agree that young children in school be taught about LGBTQ+. You disgusting perverts. I bet you even believe in hiring pedophiles, or maybe even the big guys in Disney are pedophiles. You have become so disgusting and I wouldn’t be upset one bit if your stupid BS left Florida. Youre such disgusting perverts.

  2. I have been a Disney shareholder for many years. I am looking for an attorney who will take on Disney on behalf of Disney shareholders. Disney has created a monopoly on children entertainment which should be a violation of the Anti-Trust laws. Disney has used this monopoly status to “indoctrinate”/”brainwash” children at an early age to push Disney’s political agenda promoting a homosexual/transgender lifestyle. As a result, Disney lost $34 billion in the 1st week after the board of directors announced their unilateral decision to change the Disney focus on traditional family-oriented entertainment. In addition, the state of Florida has revoked Disney’s self-government status and parents are initiating Disney boycotts. All of these actions are results of Disney’s “breach of fiduciary responsibility.

  3. We visited Disney recently after a few years absence. It is clearly not the same. The park and our resort was showing much lacking maintenance. The trip was so frustrating we cancelled two parks and paid a >$100.00 flight penalty to come home two days early. Disney has lost its magic for us. We were told there were admission limits in play. Everywhere it was EXTREMELY over crowded. Wait in the lines inside with everyone else for 40 minutes then told it was down and we should leave. Over and over again. Our room’s a/c air filters and coil were PLUGGED with dirt from other guests. Questionable air quality. Ask a cast member a question and get a vague answer. Spoutings had giant holes leaking rain on sidewalks,. Many fountains not working properly, Rusty benches, It appears there is very light preventative maintenance and repair happening. Much litter and cigarette butts in the “landscaping” reminiscent of the area behind cheap venues.
