Kyle Rittenhouse, best known for his televised trial for defending himself and fatally shooting two people during a BLM riot on August 25, 2020, is suing Facebook owner Mark Zuckerberg.

Kyle Rittenhouse

Kyle Rittenhouse, who was 17-years-old at the time, fatally shot two men and injured a third in Kenosha, Wisconson almost two years ago. In November of last year, his case went to trial, and was acquitted of five charges which included first-degree homicide. Rittenhouse claimed to be protecting his hometown and the area in which his grandfather had a car business from BLM rioters.

Rittenhouse and his Mom, Wendy, have said media outlets and celebrities had “defamed” him, including President Joe Biden.

Mark Zuckerberg Is Being Sued

You might recall back in February, Rittenhouse said he had a “few politicians and celebrities” in mind for his lawsuits. “Well, right now, we’re looking at quite a few politicians, celebrities, athletes, Whoopi Goldberg’s on the list,” Rittenhouse said. “She called me a ‘murderer’ after I was acquitted by a jury of my peers. She went on to still say that.”

According to lawyer Todd McCurtry it’s “pretty much assured that there’s probably 10 to 15 solid” cases against “large defendants.” The lawsuit against Mark Zuckerberg defamed Rittenhouse when Zuckerberg called him a “mass murderer”, and then used the Facebook platform to censor views that did not follow Zuckerberg’s narrative.

Kyle Rittenhouse seems to have chosen an outstanding lawyer, McCurtry, as he is known for his successful lawsuits against large media outlets like CNN and The Washington Post when representing Nicholas Sandmann.
