It’s official! Texas has become the first state where Republican lawmakers have formally declared Joe Biden an illegitimate president that won the 2020 election not by majority votes but by stealing the election.

The declaration of rejecting Biden as the legitimate president of the country came as part of a resolution passed during the 2022 Texas GOP Convention held at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, June 16 – 18, 2022.

Raw Story Media reported on the key points of the first in-person convention since 2018. The resolution to reject the certification of the 2020 presidential election was passed on Saturday (June 18). Raw Story Media attempted to trash the Texas GOP resolution declaring Biden as the illegitimate president by calling these “unfounded claims of a stolen election.”

UPI News reported the story and repeated the same script used by other establishment media outlets, including many conservative ones, i.e. calling the election fraud narrative “debunked allegations” though not quite attempting to address the overwhelming evidence of widespread election fraud documented in legislative hearings and numerous media presentations.

The Gateway Pundit, a staunch conservative news source, cited the story of left-leaning Reuters on the Texas GOP resolution but did not claim the election fraud allegations were unfounded. Instead, it referred readers to the documentary 2000 Mules which documents election fraud via geo-tracking of ballot harvesters. The story included the statement of the resolution rejecting Biden’s presidency as:

We reject the certified results of the 2020 presidential election, and we hold that acting President Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. was not legitimately elected by the people of the United States.

British paper Daily Mail reported that the resolution declaring Biden’s presidency illegitimate specifically cited the violation of Articles 1 and 2 of the US Constitution in the 2020 election and that the secretaries of states “illegally circumvented their state legislatures in conducting their elections in multiple ways.”

As one would expect, the Biden’s White House had no immediate comment on the Texas GOP’s resolution about Biden’s presidency.

  1. The FBI and CIA have become very corrupt. I don’t believe Biden won the presidential election either and I don’t know anyone in my area that believes it either.

  2. Sure do love those Texans, they actually have the guts to stand up for Americans. It still amazes me that more people do NOT believe the election results were tampered with and the results are not legal. I wish the rest of America had the courage the Texans have, the state of our country would be in a much better place with reasonable gas prices, food prices, clothing, insurance and most of ALL, pride in our country. I see so many polls that show how people are suffering trying to make ends meet. It is worse than the depression my parents lived through. My grandpa would tell me stories about how bad it was and hoped America never went through another one. But HERE we are!!! Way to go Texas. Wish I could afford to move there but I live in California with inflated everything…especially gas.

  3. American by birth.
Texan by the grace of God.
    Texas born, Texas bred.
When I die I’ll be Texas dead!

  4. Yeah for Texas! Wish the other states, especially the ones where elections weren’t legal according to their state legislation, would do the same, but that would take some cojones and we know there are a lot of wimps running government. Their pledges to abide by the constitution means nothing to them, both on the state and federal levels. But hurrah for Texas!

    1. Have a lot of respect for Texas for doing this. Between Florida and Texas, I see real men and women standing up and standing their ground. I wish the rest of the Republician Party would learn from them. GOD Bless Texas and Florida!
