The Soros backed Good Information Foundation, created to combat disinformation, offered a TikTok influencer money to create an ‘untrue’ propaganda video.
The Good Information Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation created in 2021 to help combat untrue information. The foundation’s CEO is Tara McGowen, the founder and publisher of Courier Newsroom, which was owned previously by a non-profit McGowin co-founded called ACRONYM – which aligns with progressives and the Democrat party.
Fast Company reported she spent almost $100 million to persuade swing voters to vote against Donald Trump in the 2020 election.
According to online sources, the foundation is also led by Richard Stengel, who was the longest-serving Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs from 2013 to 2016, where he was on the front lines to help identify and combat ISIS messages and Russian disinformation. Stengel is also the former Editor-in-Chief of Time and released a book called “Information Wars,” about fighting disinformation, especially across social media.
According to The Good Information Foundation’s website, its mission is:
“The mission of the Good Information Foundation is to increase the flow of good, factual information online to counter and rebut the spread of misinformation and disinformation. We do this by creating, incubating, funding and lifting up fact-based solutions, voices, programs and initiatives that can be quickly developed, tested and deployed at scale. We are on offense against disinformation.”
They are a non-profit foundation:
“The Good Information Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization committed to financial accountability and transparency. We rely on funding from individual donors, and public and private foundations.”
George Soros’ ‘Good Information Inc.’
“Good Information Foundation is the non-profit arm of Good Information Inc., a public benefit corporation committed to restoring social trust and strengthening democracy by investing in solutions that counter disinformation and increase the flow of good information online.”
The Dan Bogino Show reported in October 2021
Billionaires Reid Hoffman and George Soros will reportedly fund a new media company aimed at tackling disinformation.
Good Information Inc. launches on Tuesday and will be led by former Democratic strategist Tara McGowan, according to Axios.
So, Soros is launching his own ministry of truth, complete with the Orwellian name “Good Information Inc.” Good Information Inc. aims to fund and scale businesses that cut through echo chambers with fact-based information. As part of its mission, it plans to invest in local news companies,” Axios reported.
George Soros is known for his Marxist and socialist views. Soros supports progressive organizations and extreme liberal beliefs like in some non-profits, organizations, political influencers like state Attorney Generals, and Democrat political leaders like Stacy Abrams, who is campaigning for Governor in Georgia.
Soros also helps bankroll Black Lives Matter.
Influencers Paid for Propaganda Posts
A popular TikTok influencer and attorney Preston Moore, who has over 94 thousand TikTok followers, says that the Good Information Foundation offered to pay him $400 to make an “anti–Donald Trump propaganda post related to the January 6 investigation that is completely not true.”
Moore, who goes by @trialbypreston on TikTok and disseminates legal news, says he was asked to publish a negative propaganda post about President Donald Trump that is “not entirely true” – he also noted he is not a Trump supporter.
Here is an example of what the Good Info Foundation asked from the TikTok influencer:
The video from the lawyer went viral with much dismay among Americans, pointing out the corrupt nature behind what Good Info Foundation is asking of popular influencers.
Watch the TikTok video here:
Moore replied to the foundation representative several times asking for information backing up the negative statements about Trump in the email request but did not get an answer or additional information. At the end of the conversation, the representative said, “Let me know if you’re interested and if the fee suits you.”
The Good Information Foundation has a Civic News Initiative that includes building:
“a network of local freelance editors, reporters, content producers and community organizers committed to producing and distributing factual, value-driven news and content to the communities in which they live.”
“The Good Information Foundation will compensate them to publish their original reporting online and offer the content free of charge to any global, national, state or local news organizations looking to bolster their reporting capacity and coverage within those communities and geographies.”
One of the bullet points mentioned that Trump paid over $6 million for the January 6th happening. USA Today reported about it in this story.
ADN America reported, “The Good Information Foundation is registered as a nonprofit charity, and therefore, according to the IRS, “may not directly or indirectly participate in, or intervene in, political campaigning on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for elective public office.”
