According to a new to The Redfield & Wilton Strategies survey conducted on behalf of Newsweek, a majority of voters are currently against the idea of Biden running again for the White House.
According to the poll, 58 percent of voters do not believe that Biden should seek reelection. Of that 58 percent, 42 percent noted that Biden’s age was the biggest reason why they did not believe that he should run again.
Biden is the oldest candidate to have ever been elected to office and he is the first octogenarian to be President.
Around 16 percent noted that his economic policies are what makes them say he should not run, while 7 percent noted that there are other strong Democratic candidates that have the potential to be successful.
According to the survey, only around 30 percent of voters believe that Biden should try and seek reelection, while 12 percent noted that they were unsure of whether or not he should run again.
Biden has previously indicated repeatedly that he had every intention of running for office again in 2024. However, he has not yet officially announced his presidential campaign for 2024. On the other hand, former President Donald Trump has already launched his 2024 presidential campaign.
